THE FOO BIRDS

The Foo Birds are an Edinburgh-based 5-piece creatively blending classic jazz, soul and blues with neo-funk influences and a shameless lick of pop. Performances have included tours to Belgium and Croatia, as well as festival appearances at Kelburn Garden Party and the Edinburgh Fringe. They have recorded numerous live sessions and released two albums, both of which have enjoyed multiple plays on BBC Radio Scotland.

ALICE GASSON

Alice Gasson is a Manchester-based artist, doing her best to create music that shares truth, brings joy and gives hope! With a brand new sound incorporating neo-soul, hip-hop, funk and disco, Alice and the band are out to create an atmosphere that takes listeners to another level through the melodic and lyrical crafting, whilst injecting them with all the groove, flare and excitement of soul and disco!

LILY JO

Lily-Jo is a pop soul singer songwriter from Manchester, UK. She comes from three generations of musicians and grew up singing in Church. After studying Performing Arts at college she went on to perform backing vocals alongside the likes of Damon Albarn, Nenah Cherry, De La Soul & Roots Manuva. 2014 saw Lily-Jo transition to the front of the stage as she released her self-titled debut mini EP with a gig at Glastonbury Festival and a whole range of national and local press coverage, including the BBC.

In summer 2015 Lily-Jo released her debut five track EP ‘Need to Know’, after signing a record deal with LIGHT Music, and spent the summer gigging at festivals across the UK and Europe. In 2016, she toured the UK and Europe as female vocalist for EDM band LZ7, with performances in arenas across Holland, Finland, Switzerland, Belarus, and Norway.

2017 is set to be Lily-Jo’s biggest year yet as she heads out on her first ever UK tour with pop sensation Ben Haenow.
