John Ainsworth EP Launch // 11th Dec // Donations

John Ainsworth returns to Manchester to play Fallow Cafe and release a new EP after a 6 month tour of Canada and America.
Described as “one to watch, the perfect antidote to mumford and sons” – David Sue – Manchester Evening news
“One can only imagine what it might have been like to stumble across Nirvana in the early days but chances are it might have been something akin to Ainsworth at the Canadian Guitar Festival.” – Craig Bakay – Kingston Region

Johns intense and unique genre binding sound with styles such as acoustic, alternative, experimental, rock, flamenco, blues, dark folk, oriental and psychedelic makes for a breath of fresh air in todays modern music scene. His original 12 string guitar style, ethereal vocals and well crafted songwriting have landed him massive festivals throughout the UK, Europe and North America taking him on a musical adventure.
With over 1000 gigs under his belt including tours of the UK, France, Canada and the United States, his live shows are something to see and hear.
This will be his first show in Manchester and his last for the foreseeable future as he will be resuming his musical adventure in 2016

Grungy psychedelic dark folk rock with deep lyrically freaky imagery and vocal melodies that cut through and soar over the top of a super fat boomy fuzzy guitar is one way of describing the bear around your necks sound.
He has been making waves freaking out crowds and has worked his way up the musical gig ladder proving his sound and live performance is like none other which has lead to landing himself on big festivals and great support slots for established bands.
With his debut album ready to go it won’t be long till his sound reaches an even wider audience. The recordings he has on his soundcloud page have struck nerves with magazines suck as The Skinny and City Life Magazine earning him great reviews.
