Set in a genre of their own, Dom Major and his band have been described as ‘Atmospheric/Americana’. With a raw talent for songwriting, Dom blends commercial songs with left field influences. Touted by the Independent as “One to watch in 2015”, Dom has already graced such venues as The Ritz, Manchester Academy and even London’s Royal Albert Hall.
One of the charms of the band is the way they connect with the crowd. Audiences leave the gig not only humming the tunes, but feeling as if they are part of the band. And the lads onstage charisma is the catalyst of this.
Youthful breezey alt-pop artist Charlie Dancer hails from a Northumberland town with a population of 2,000 that’s famous for its real ale brewery and the father of the railways. Over the past 6 months Charlie has refined his dynamic live set, playing over 30 shows across the UK supporting the likes of Racing Glaciers, Shields and Blossoms.
Manchester Based four piece The Society, bring together their own blend of alt-indie-pop with cool beat’s, washy guitars and catchy vocals, they’ve been a little quite this year but have just dropped a banger of a tune called ‘Given Up’ go check it out out on their soundcloud.
Zoe Striling is an unbelieveable talent and definietly one to watch for the future, using the combination of folk and rock with a dash of pop sprinkled on to add catchyness and sas to the proceedings.
